Accepted!

Dear Readers,

Rejoice with me! I received an e-mail in early August accepting me into the monastery. I will be entering November 19th, on the feast of St. Agnes of Assisi. The past months have been spent in dispersing my belongings and preparing to leave, as well as witnessing, to the best of my ability, to this wonderful gift God has given me. I am overjoyed and at peace with this decision, and I hope that God will bless myself and others through my poor efforts.

As mentioned in my last post, I will leave my writings available to you, so that you may read them at your convenience. I wish to thank all those who read my blog, and share it with others, and I hope that God will bless you with wisdom and virtue as you follow your own vocations. I hope that you will pray for me, as I will continue to pray for all who read my work.

Peace in Jesus,
Sadie

  2. Congratulations! I am too pursuing a vocation as a religious sister. I am interested in the Franciscans or the Trinitarians. I too have felt called since a very young age, 6 or 7 years old. I find your posts very inspiring!

    God bless you!

  4. Dear Sadie,

    Pray and Love!

    Congratulations!!!

Hi :) I'm khim and a diocesan seminarian...
Just want to share this thoughts ---> This spiritual path does not appeal to everyone. God calls some people to activity, intellect and study. But the Holy One calls the contemplative to seek the Divine in this interior landscape, in a cloud of unknowing, in love and by faith.

    God bless.

    Yours in Prayer,
    Khim

  5. You will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives you have entered. Mine included. I cannot begin to express how much I value our friendship, and as sad as I am to see you leave my life, I do feel so happy for you. You are one of my closest friends, and my only regret is that I did not get to spend more time with you. There's still so much I want to talk to you about, ask your advice on... I will miss you, Sadie.

    Your friend,
    Chris.

  8. Jocy, I'm very proud of you :) with a deep sincerity. For you are growing up. But then what reamains now is not so much as the end, yet a birth to a new life in Christ and thus a beginning on your journey. On a close friend basis, you will be missed yet will never be forgotten... all of us will most definantly grow closer together with you with our souls that has been created through the Holy Trinity, and thus spiritually everlastingly together. You'll be ever in my prayers always and forever so! God Bless you always! May God reward you! *angel hugs back*
